VISITING RULES
Reminder to all our visitors, you are visiting a Dogs Mountain Sanctuary, not a petting zoo. You are visiting their home and they are not here for human entertainment.
The sanctuary is an environment of respect and compassion; many of our rescued animals have had terrible experiences with humans prior to arriving at the sanctuary.
Our focus is on their safety and security is to protect them away from harm and threats.
Our dogs are much more sensitive than the regular dogs. We expect you to treat them with kindness and respect.
- The sanctuary safety rules for the safety and comfort of our animals and
the visitors. - Absolutely visitors are not allowed to take pictures or film our animals and premises; this is for the security purposes of our animals and premises. Anyone found and not respecting our policies and adhere our rules will be asked to leave immediately.
- Absolutely No Companion animal allowed on the sanctuary grounds at any time due to the safety of our animals residents living at the sanctuary.
- Children are not allowed to run, wander, or behave loudly on the sanctuary premises. In order to ensure an stress-free environment for the animals.
- Children must be monitored at all times and close by. Any parent or child not respecting our policies will be asked to leave immediately.
- Many of our resident animals are very territorial by nature; when people approach the sanctuary, we advise you Please do not attempt to touch them; and do not put hands through fences.
- Loud or unruly behavior towards the animals will not be tolerated. Visitors must not whistle, yell, or run. These things disturb or excite the animals unnecessarily. Visitors must be respectful of the mongrel dogs and the facility; this is they forever home at all times (i.e., do not throw things into enclosures; do not climb over fences; do not open gates of any kind; do not go through restricted areas; do not leave your rubbish at the sanctuary).
- Anyone found not respecting our safety policies will be asked to leave immediately.
Please adhere to any of the above rules guidelines. Those individuals found to be in violation of any rules will be asked to leave.
