Who We Are
Dogs Mountain Animal Sanctuary was established in 2006. A Non-profit organization, not-for- profit or gain . A privately funded and run venture founded by John Hughes, an artist from Brighton UK. The sanctuary was set up with a clear purpose – a simple mission to create a kinder world for animals. That actually sanctuary cares for life the animals. Showing them the love and kindness, every animal deserves.
How We Started
John R. Hughes founded Dogs Mountain Sanctuary in 2006 after seeing the reality of Dog Meat Trade and the fate of dogs in the Philippines firsthand while traveling with the fellow animal advocate who helped rescue them from the dog meat slaughter raid. He created the first Dog Sanctuary to support and end the dog meat trade in this region. He provides a shelter for the dogs where they can live, safe, and secure. Having a better home life in our sanctuary.
To provide a safe, loving and forever home for our rescue animals, where these
animals never suffer again from harm or threats. Where they will be free to enjoy life in peace and comfort.
To bring an end to the destruction of the stray and abandoned dogs. All animals are to be treated with respect and kindness and we should aim to protect them.
At Dogs Mountain, we believe it is unacceptable to harm animals. To experience abuse of any kind, and we still believe that every animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness without distinction as to breed, we human to affirm the dignity and worth of every animals, and it’s our responsibility to protect them and value their welfare and well-being.
What Does Dogs Mountain Do
We work differently at Dogs Mountain, the safety and security of these animals is the focus of Dogs Mountain, and our work sanctuary’s on caring and improving the lives of vulnerable animals without having to remove them from the place where they currently live. We provide lifetime refuge for these animals to empower the noble, life-saving efforts of animal rescue, and give them a safe and secure loving home where animals have the right lives with us and allow these animals to get old.
“THE APPROACH”
With every – rescue animal we’ve saved Dogs Mountain offers sanctuary-care-for-life for them; a peaceful safe haven is a place where all our rescue animals can live and be protected and this continues to be the purpose of the sanctuary today.
